This semester I have to take a lot of art history classes. I wonder how it will change my work?
All of my studio classes are drawing classes. No paint. No clay. Just pencils.

Has paint prices gone through the roof where you live? Here Liquitex acrylic has gone up from 4.99 to 7.49 on average. It's 11.99 for the single pigments.

But should I seal my paintings???

I use acrylics and I found some semi satin finish in a box of crap. I think a gloss coat is out of the question, but i tried the semi satin on two little ones. They look the same only now they have a sleek even coat.

I just don't want to find out I cheapened two paintings by varnishing them. oops
